Stories from the raw bar

Downtown Cancún guides, raw-seafood explainers and pairing notes, written by the people who shuck the oysters.

The MERO 18 blog

Everything we know about the sea (and Cancún), in writing

We're the jungle sea bar inside Mezcal Boutique Hotel — and our doors are open to everyone, no room key required. This is where we share what we learn between services: what real aguachile tastes like, where locals actually eat downtown, what to pour with a dozen oysters. And when reading turns into craving, we're here every day from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm for breakfast, lunch and dinner — our new breakfast menu drops very soon.
